As a parent, it is important to have stress reduction techniques. The problem — as I see it — is not developing techniques…it is finding the time to incorporate these techniques into your busy schedule. Some excellent stress reduction techniques include:

1) working out a few times a week

2) meditation

3) taking a leisurely walk

4) swimming

5) cooking/baking to relax

6) listening to music

7) going out for dinner or a movie once and awhile

8) talking to a good friend over coffee
