Dan Weiner, MA LPC received his Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford in 1995 and has provided psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, parents, families, and adults for the last 20 years. During the first several years of his career, Dan provided therapy for children experiencing severe mental health conditions in a psychiatric hospital setting. He eventually took on the role as Clinical Director of Child Services at Saint Francis Care Behavioral Health, which allowed him to help develop clinical programs and services for the inpatient community. Missing the opportunity to provide direct clinical care to clients, Dan turned his attention to the development of his private practice, which opened it’s doors in 2001 to children, adolescents, young adults and families. Currently located in West Hartford, CT Dan’s practice continues to serve clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues, while also specializing in the treatment of neuro-developmental disorders which effect clients, cognitively, emotionally, and socially.
In more recent years, Dan co-founded and is a partner in the Family Resource and Development Center, LLC (FRDC, LLC), also located in West Hartford, CT. FRDC is a group psychotherapy practice offering a variety of mental health services to children, adolescents, and families throughout the state of Connecticut.
