Sheryll Waring, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Trauma Specialist. She received a master’s degree in counseling from St. Joseph’s College with advanced training in Trauma Informed Treatment with Dr. Greenwald, Executive Director of The Child Trauma Institute. Sheryll has also studied at UMASS, seeking a certificate in Autism Studies.
Sheryll brings with her 20 years of behavioral modification background with specialized training in Behavioral Functions and Behavior Support Planning as well as specialized training in treating anxiety, depression and trauma across age ranges. Sheryll has worked with children as young as 3 years of age up to young adults. Sheryll has worked with a variety of children and families including children on the spectrum, developmentally disabled and medically fragile children. She has done significant in home treatment, providing holistic support to families across settings, including helping families stabilize issues with siblings and overall family dynamics. Sheryll has presented specialized training in Physical and Psychological Management, Fire Setting, Abuse and Neglect and Behavior Interventions. She is well known for her rapport with families and her creativity. Sheryll is a mother of children with Autism and ADHD.
